HOW SIERRA WORKS
How Sierra’s Business Funding Process Works
Sierra combines one secure application, disciplined file preparation, controlled capital-provider presentation and responsive human support. Every request is different; these stages explain the process, not a guaranteed approval or funding timeline.
A Disciplined Path From Objective to Verified Outcome
Each stage gives the client a clear responsibility, gives Sierra a defined action and ends with evidence—not an assumption.
1. Clarify the objective
Define what the capital should accomplish, the approximate amount, desired timing and expected source of repayment.
2. Complete the secure application
Provide business, ownership and financing information through CapitalApply. Submission is not approval.
3. Upload supporting documents
Provide complete, legible records through the secure application process.
4. Prepare the opportunity
Sierra reviews for completeness, contradictions, unresolved facts and potential structure considerations.
5. Evaluate potential financing paths
Potential structures may be considered from the objective, verified information, repayment capacity and operating history.
6. Authorize provider presentation
Sierra staff makes the final provider selection and authorizes presentation through a verified route.
7. Review responses and stipulations
Sierra organizes actual provider questions, stipulations, declines or potential offers without inventing economics.
8. Coordinate closing and ongoing support
If the client selects an available option, Sierra supports remaining steps and confirms completion through evidence.
What Can Affect Timing?
Application completeness, document quality, financing structure, provider review, stipulations and client responsiveness can all affect timing. Sierra explains controllable delays, unresolved requirements and the next useful action—without advertising an unsupported universal funding time.
Process FAQ
Can I start with a consultation?
Yes. A consultation can help clarify the request before the secure application.
Does submitting an application mean my file is lender-ready?
Not necessarily. Supporting documents, clarification or additional preparation may still be required.
Can Sierra submit to several providers?
Sierra may consider more than one provider when appropriate, but selection and presentation must be controlled and authorized.
How will I know what is happening?
Material updates should explain what occurred, the supporting evidence, what remains unresolved and the next required action.
Who makes the financing decision?
The applicable capital provider makes its own decision. Sierra provides preparation, advisory and coordination services.
